Update Changelog 2018-Jan-31

A new week – time for a game update and a fresh quick overview of all changes and improvements that happened this week. Please keep sharing your testing experience and findings with us. Items & Inventory

  • Weapons – You can equip to primary and secondary weapon slots directly
  • Combat belt – You can choose combat belt slots
  • Item positions – Some changes ensure items stay in the same position
  • Item texts – Unwanted special characters on item details are now fixed
  • Rations – You can bribe officials now (with a button) to get extra rations at the Government Center and there is a shortcut on your stats summary, too
  • Selling – You can now sell to vendors at any room in the market area
  • Prices – More work was done to optimize balancing of item prices

Missions

  • New – You can discover a brand new mission on Tau Station
  • Flow – Several improvements on mission flow/steps
  • Texts – Several text changes like typo corrections (thanks for all your reports!)

Chat

  • Text focus – Scrolls to the latest message when opening chat window
  • Animation – Opening animation removed to speed up chat availability on iOS devices
  • Previous messages – Display is now limited in the window to 300 messages in the log
  • Auto-Scrolling – Overall better detection of the auto-scrolling (e.g. scrolls to the bottom when: sending a message / hitting enter, when opening chat after it’s been collapsed)
  • IE11 – Fixed a unique scrolling issue that affected Internet Explorer 11

Various Improvements & Fixes

  • Messaging – Forum, blog & email reply subject lines are prefilled to speed up replies
  • Focus – All missions and side job actions are consuming focus properly now as intended (a few actions didn’t consume focus which was a balancing / fair play issue)
  • Brig – Being confined now results in a message in the “Tasks” tab explaining why you have no tasks
